About Me
My name is Rusty Dycus, and I started my first company in 1983 (I was 10 years old). I sold Pet Rocks to tourists in downtown Eureka Springs, AR, and I was a food courier to the downtown shop owners of my parents’ restaurant, Crane’s Nest Caffe. The shop owners loved me! I was a larger kid, and when I rolled up with their hot food and was out of breath and tired, the tips would roll in. On the way back to the Caffe, I would stop off at the Basin Park and sell a few more Pet Rocks 🙂 And my business empire was just getting started. I started investing in a little-known company called Walmart. You can only guess what happened over time.
At the age of 22, I was working at a Christian Apparel company called http://www.kerusso.com. Over the years, I became the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and led half the company. Departments included Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Marketing, my own creative department, Administration, and more. I worked at Kerusso for almost 23 years. It was my passion, and I loved what I was doing.
In 2018, I left Kerusso and started my first real company—the Rusty Dycus Allstate Agency. After a few months in the company, I knew I was in trouble and began researching how I could master the art of Insurance sales and marketing.
In July 2019, I started working on Olde School marketing and doing mailers for my Allstate company. By November of that year, I had customers, and by early 2020, the company was supporting more than itself—it was my entire life. Mosaic marketing is now a large Marketing Agency that supports hundreds of customers with lead nurturing techniques.
